Some photographers knock smartphone photos but hey, you use the camera you have with you. Love that a bee flew near the sun when I made this picture.
I had an assignment to photograph the full moon behind a building under construction in South Boston, I went a couple of days early to scope out the idea location (with the help of The Photographer’s Ephemeris).
As I looked to the east for the moon, I took a quick peek over my shoulder back towards Boston’s financial district and POW, this sunset unfolded before me.
Finished up a shoot at the Harvard Business School a couple of days ago and was greeted by this ominous looking sky, populated with mammatus clouds:
Later that evening, when I got home, the next thunderstorm kept me in my car for a few minutes as the nearly continuous lightning cracked through the sky:
