Nice to see my portrait of M.I.T. sophomore Amelia Trainer used in this profile of her and her work computer modeling neutron behavior inside nuclear reactors. She was a treat to work with, so cooperative and willing to wander around the campus with me on a blustery as I photographed her.
I love shooting criteriums: compact racecourse, city streets, high speeds, close contact, great crowds and they usually occur late in the day so the light is terrific. The Gran Prix of Beverly is one of the best run crits in New England, drawing racers from the whole region and this year’s race did not disappoint.
